Life in the suburb Heusenstamm is a suburb of Offenbach, which is a suburb of Frankfurt. So don't expect the rush of the city at that restaurant that operates in a tastefully reconditioned old train station. Of course: the service is very good, the food too and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from the most German to the most Mediterranean. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Corona-related delivery service. We ordered schnitzel with fries and salad yesterday at 6:30 p.m. When no one was there at 7:00 p.m., I called the restaurant. It turned out that the driver was being sent down the wrong street. The meal then came at 7:20 pm. The packaging was still warm, so we accepted and paid for the delivery. Unfortunately, the food was no longer good. The fries were soft and cold and the schnitzel lukewarm. Only two stars are awarded for the fresh salad. It remains with this one attempt.

Breakfast during the week. Just a breakfast plate? Sausage, cheese, yoghurt in a mug, jam and Nutella packed in plastic. Very disappointing. Unfortunately not recommended at all at the moment. Possibly due to the Corona period, but others manage it better.

You can sit outside in a spacious way. Lots of umbrellas. Daily ticket. Friendly service. Unfortunately, the lamb sirloin was already over at 12 o'clock ... The ribbon noodles with the chanterelles were very good. The many wasps were disturbing. The price level is moderately high. On Tuesdays from 2 p.m. there is a small farmers market next door.

Above all, if you can sit outside in good weather, everything is here to feel good. A beer after work on a historic site and also a tasty meal, what more could you ask for? Inside it is a bit more rustic, even with larger groups, it is never too tight. We feel well and always well taken care of here with our funny very troupe. The service is fast and likes to go for personal requests. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. The drinks are fast and you never have to sit dry for long. A real additional argument to go here is always the large parking lot next to and also the beautiful fountain on the station square, which ensures even in the heat of a pleasant climate. The S-Bahn does not bother at all, especially since the train uses the whisper trains. This uncanny quietness is even sometimes scary.

Always a good address for a delicious meal. The dishes are simple but good. The selection goes from regional dishes over burgers to Indian food. It is often quite full in this restaurant. Reservation for brunch highly recommended.
